Ok Linda, here ya' go..
1. I was senior student body president of my high school. The first in fact : ) (Washoe High) We went to the state student body convention that year in Elko and really stood out. Everyone else was wearing letterman jackets and cheerleader outfits, and we were in wide-bottom bells with hair down to our shoulders : ) ..I’ll have to post my senior class picture some time.
2. I like bluegrass music. ..Also what is nowadays being called alternative-country. I like just about any sort of live music.
3. I have a long history of head injuries after the one mentioned in Mom’s #3. I’ve been in 3 really severe car accidents, only one of which (they said) was my fault. ..And I wasn’t entirely convinced. ..I know, I know. That explains a lot : )
4. In 1979, Dad and I helped co-found the Libertarian Futurist Society’s Prometheus Awards for Libertarian fiction.
5. I can throw a Frisbee 50+ yards. Accurately too!
6. I’m quitting smoking : )

Uncle John you are really funny. I do not mean to sound surprised its just that I find myself laughing out loud when I read your posts or e-mails. It is alot of fun to learn new things about you. I am impressed that you were the president of your senior class, I bet you did a great job at that.
Quitting smoking...that's awesome. Are you on the Chantix? That is what Terry is using and it worked great for him. I already knew the rest of that stuff...love you
I'd have to agree on being impressed about the Senior class president thing. That's crazy! I think I remember my Mom telling me that. I'm glad you started a blog. They're fun, even if you don't have much going on. I look forward to seeing pictures...not so much looking forward to political debates :)
